Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and commercially minded Project Controller (Invoicing focused) to join their finance and administration team. The Project Controller plays a key role in ensuring projects are administered efficiently from inception through to completion, with a strong focus on financial control, project performance and timely revenue generation. Working closely with Project Managers and the Finance team, you will help ensure projects remain commercially sound, accurately reported and invoiced on time.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, including proposals, project set-up, delivery and completion.
  • Maintain project administration and control activities within the ERP system in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare project cost control and progress reports.
  • Ensure contractor, supplier and staff cost information is received accurately and on time.

Our client, an ever-growing brand within the Survey and Drillship space, need an experienced and commercially competent “Principal Geotechnical Engineer” to join their rapidly expanding offshore geotechnical survey team, supporting complex marine site investigation projects across the offshore energy, subsea infrastructure and nearshore construction sectors.

This is a senior, technical and operational role suited to an individual with strong offshore geotechnical investigation experience, ideally gained within geotechnical survey contractors, offshore drilling contractors, marine site investigation companies or integrated survey organisations. We mention this to highlight and stress that this is not a Design-led Consultancy role.

The successful profile will play a key role in the planning, delivery and technical oversight of offshore geotechnical campaigns, including drillship and jack-up operations, in situ testing programmes and seabed sampling works. Unlike traditional consultancy design roles, this position is focused on operational geotechnics, field investigation leadership and client-facing project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the technical planning and execution of offshore geotechnical site investigations
  • Providing geotechnical oversight for drillship, jack-up and vessel-based operations

Our client (an international marine business) are seeking a Principal Mariner to undertake and manage a range of marine assurance, consultancy and advisory services across multiple clients and projects.

  • Building and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
  • Preparing marketing materials and tender submissions
  • Support external profile-raising activities, including social media, articles and industry presentations
  • Seek and record client feedback and identify opportunities for safety improvements

Skills Knowledge & Experience:

  • Certified Master Mariner (Unlimited STCW II/2 CoC)
  • Sea-going experience as Master or Chief Officer in offshore oil, gas and/or renewable energy sectors
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Rigid pipelay
  • Flexible lay
  • Heavy lift
  • Dynamic positioning (DP)
  • Anchor handling
  • Rig moves
  • Towage
  • Supply operations
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marine regulations, industry standards, practices and guidelines
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, high-quality technical reports and presentations
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
  • Medically fit for offshore assignments
